Poynt has a very good support article How to Enable & Customize Receipts? In order to increase the following of your business or in other words to increase opt-ins to text marketing, we encourage you to do the following.
1. Add the following text on your custom footer
Send Y to <your SMS long code assigned by TextIn> to follow our business.
2. Encourage customers to provide their mobile # to receive receipt by text.
